November 24th, first serious snow of the season

Boris came early from work today and we went to Gatineau for a little hike. The weather was so perfect; fluffy powder on the ground (maybe 7cm or so) and it kept snowing and snowing and wasn't cold at all :)
I am attaching some pictures which were taken with the cell phone so the quality is not that great.

A New Beginning

Well...it's November 15th, 2005 and I am having my morning coffee in Canada's capital and looking out of the window to see the first real snow of this season. It snows for over an hour and some even stays on the ground.
Turning this house into a livable space is taking a while but I am almost done. The washer should be here later today and the dishwasher tomorrow (I hope).
I will post some 'before & after' pictures as soon as I am done (probably on the weekend).
That's it for now, things to do dishes to wash..
