Island Weekend, July 28-30

This weekend we took the ferry first to Orca's Island where we camped for two nights and then to Friday Harbour on San Juan Island where we spent Sunday afternoon.
We saw some whales, visited a Lavender farm (ate some vanilla-lavender ice cream, Mmm...), hiked up and down Mt Constitution, dipped our feet into the very cold and clear waters of the Pacific Ocean and had a great time in general :)

BC Weekend, July 22-23

Went back to Canada for the weekend. Stopped for half a day in Vancouver; Went for dinner in Whistler (Araxis - awesome desserts); Spent the night in Squamish at a beautiful B&B (NuSalya). On Sunday morning we went swimming in Brohm lake and then rafting down the Squamish and Elaho rivers (level 3&4 rapids) which are fed by glaciers.
