North Cascades NP, September 2nd

This time we did the blue lake trail which was very nice probably 4-5 miles in and out; we had a picnic on Washington pass and drove further east to Winthrop - a small western town with a few local pottery and arts shops and some restaurants (we chose the Duck Brand which had the nicest porch, very slow service and good food).

Snow Lake, August 25th

The hike was great, 6-7 miles in and out, elevation gain 1800 feet in, 400 feet out. The lake is beautiful and probably swimmable on a hot summer day.
