Mt Rainier, October 21st
About two feet (60cm) of snow already, you can ski, board, snowshoe or hike :)
Actually it wasn't cold at all 2-4c and we hiked up easily up to the Nisqually glacier vista point. We saw quite a few people on snowshoes and contemplating going again next weekend.

Wow, what a difference from one week ago... it was sunny and nice and ther was a thin layer of snow only at the top of the trail.
