XC skiing in Cypress, Jan 4th
I thought they charged way too much (a bit less than $20, maybe $18 or so) relatively to the size of the skiing area and length of trails and you were never alone, anywhere...If you are skiing for the sports this place is good because its close to the city etc... but if its the quiet forest or beautiful view you are looking for go somewhere else.

You guys must be having a terrific winter. :)
We had great cross-country and downhill until about 2 weeks ago. Since then the weather became warm and rainy and we lost most of our snow. :(
We also had to cancel our trip to Ottawa due to the closure of Rideau Canal.

There was a lot of snow here in Vancouver this winter but very little in Whistler :(
In fact we went up there only 6 times this year as opposed to twice as much last year...
